The wïsh centre exists to improve the quality of life and chances of survival for young people who self harm.
We don’t receive any government funding, so we rely on voluntary donations from people like you.
Your support means we can provide specialist care so young people aren’t alone and can stop self harming. Help us to help young people.
Just Giving is an online donations service. Donating via Just Giving is easy and completely secure.

Harrow Wins Lottery
Harrow Wins is a weekly lottery that raises money for good causes in Harrow.
Tickets for the lottery cost from just £1 per week. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000! That’s a better chance of winning than the National Lottery or the Health Lottery!
Each ticket will consist of 6 numbers and each number will be between 0 and 9. There will be a draw every Saturday night when a 6 digit winning combination will be picked. Prizes will be given to players with tickets that match the first or last 2-6 numbers from the winning combination. Match all 6 and you win the JACKPOT!
Please make sure you select the wïsh centre as your chosen cause, thank you!
Through Your Salary
Payroll Giving is a great way to make regular donations to us straight from your salary. It’s the only way that your donation to us can automatically go up to 45% further, allowing us to reach more young people who self harm than ever.
By giving to us regularly from your pay, we automatically receive the tax you would have paid on the donation. We don’t need to claim Gift Aid back on this, so it’s less admin for us, and there’s no Direct Debit needed from you.
If your employer, company or personal pension provider runs a Payroll Giving scheme, you can donate straight from your wages or pension. This happens before tax is deducted from your income.
In Your Will
We rely on donations to fund our vital work so depend on the generosity of people like you. Any gift you can give will help us support young people at risk now and in the future.
How do I leave a legacy?
There are three main ways to leave a legacy or a gift in your will. Your solicitor or financial advisor will be able to check over everything for you but it may be helpful for you to have a look at the options now:
- Residuary gift is the gift of either all or a share of, what is left in your estate after all other gifts to family and friends plus taxes and expenses have been paid
- Pecuniary gift is a gift of a stated amount of money which is left to a named person, charity or other organisation. Inflation will reduce the value of these gifts over the years, so should be revised from time to time.
- Specific gift is a gift of a specific item like a piece of jewellery, furniture or property, rather than a sum of money. The item must be described exactly and the name and address of the person or organisation to whom the gift has been left should be given.
Do I need to make a new will, or can I just amend an existing one?
If you already have a will and simply want to make some changes, you need to add a codicil, which is a separate instruction that is then kept with your will.
If you do decide to leave a gift to the wïsh centre you may consider pledging your legacy now. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence. You don’t have to be specific about any details but it will help us when planning for our future to know that there is money promised.
It’s your decision to tell us if you have left a gift in your will but if you would like to discuss your gift with us, we’d love to hear from you.
