Job Overview
Are you passionate about helping children and young people in distress get the targeted help and support they need? This role is suited to someone with the ability to work flexibly, both as part of a team and on your own initiative.
If you don’t have all the experience we are asking for but believe you could do this job well with training and support, please do apply and tell us why.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join a small multidisciplinary team within a local youth mental health Charity which specialises in the prevention and recovery from self harm and abuse. The wïsh centre is one of the UK’S few charities who are experts in this issue, and our 90% self harm recovery rates have been validated by Centre for Mental Health (more here A Space to talk – The wïsh centre (thewishcentre.org.uk)).
Every year we support over 100 children and young people ages 12-21 years with open ended psychotherapy and peer support groups.
We need an organised, pro-active Projects Officer to support our CEO across a range of work including project management, data collation and reporting, partnership work, researching and drafting funding bids and reports, plus helping with recruitment and administering our Trustee Board.
This new role is suited to someone with the ability to work flexibly, both as part of a team and on your own initiative. Come and use your excellent communication skills and attention to detail to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people in Harrow.
