The wïsh centre has grown from into a community of young people and mental health professionals who together have developed effective ways to help young people to stop self harming. We are proud to evidence our 90% recovery rate and are keen to help many more young people to stop self harming, overcome the impact of trauma, sexual violence, abuse or neglect whilst training those who support them to be more effective.
The wïsh centre is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work in its ethical framework. All of our Psychotherapists are qualified and accredited and have external clinical supervision.
We also have youth and peer support workers plus a wide network of ex-service users, peer mentors and a Trustee Board where many have lived experience of self harm, abuse and youth mental health.
